We are here to help you reach your goal of optimum health. We want to be available to answer your questions and to inspire you when things become difficult, as the healing process can be. But please understand that we cannot do the work for you. So by asking us to work with you, you agree to take ownership of your body, to take responsibility for your health, to be committed to the path you have chosen and to make the changes necessary to achieve your goals.

We ask that in becoming a client of our clinic, you always respect our clinic, our therapists and our other clients. Each person comes to ISIS for healing, relaxation, support and understanding. Please share our space with consideration for others.  If for any reason we are unable to provide your scheduled appointment due to an error on our part, we will do everything we can to provide you with some compensation for the error.  However, we also feel it is only fair that we reserve the right to refuse to provide an appointment if you have failed to respect our policies.

Consideration

Consideration is something we all try to practice every day with the people we meet.  This is especially important in our clinic which is a small, enclosed environment.  So in order to be considerate of our other clients, we ask that you refrain from the following:

  • Please do not wear scented products, especially if you are planning to receive a detoxifying treatment such as a clay bath, colonic or lymphatic drainage session.  It can interfere with the effectiveness of your detoxification experience as well as provide an allergen for chemically-sensitive individuals within the clinic.
  • Cell phone use is not permitted within the clinic.  If your phone is with you, and on vibrate, we ask you not to answer it while inside the clinic.  If you must use your phone, please exit the clinic to do so. 
  • Please speak softly when walking through our corridors or in your treatment rooms.  Loud sounds do carry within the clinic, and your conversation should remain private.  To ensure that and to not disrupt another person's relaxing session, please speak at a lower volume (Use your inside voice!).  
  • Please arrive on time for your appointment.  If you are a new client and you have not filled out your paperwork from our website, then you MUST arrive 15-20 minutes early in order to complete your paperwork without losing any of your scheduled appointment time.  Our therapists cannot be late for their next appointment, and so we ask you to be considerate of your therapist's time and the client's appointment time that follows yours.

Payment Options

Payment is expected on the day of service, or at the time you order from us. Phone evaluations and on-line purchases must be paid for at the time of order.  We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover or cash. New clients, when making appointments, are required to provide valid credit card information and acknowledge the cancellation policy.  Should you not provide 24 hours notice of cancellation or you fail to appear for your scheduled appointment, your credit card will be charged per our cancellation fees listed below.

Gift Certificates

We enjoy seeing new people come into the clinic to use a gift certificate they have been given for one of our wonderful treatments. This really is a lovely gift, but there are a few rules about gift certificates that we would like you to know before purchasing one. First, although we put an expiration date, this is more to encourage the recipient to come in. We will honor a gift certificate regardless of the expiration date on the certificate itself. If someone loses their certificate, we do keep a record so that we can usually still honor it. Only one gift certificate can be used per service received. Our minimum purchase for a gift certificate is $75.00. Gift certificates are not returnable, nor are they redeemable for cash, only for clinic products and services.                               

Appointment Options

When making an appointment for the first time with us, we will ask for your credit card information and your e-mail address so that we may reserve your appointment time. There will be no charge to your credit card unless you fail to appear for your appointment or you fail to give us 24 hours notice of cancellation. Please understand that these fees pay for the therapists' time which has been reserved for you.  Your e-mail address ensures that you receive a confirmation of your appointment as well as a reminder 24 hours before your appointment so that you have the option of changing or canceling your appointment with no fee. 

We also stress that you must appear for your appointment on time. After 15 minutes, we consider the appointment cancelled and will charge you the full fee for the missed appointment, even if you appear after the 15 minutes grace period. You may reschedule your missed appointment during the same week and apply the fee to the rescheduled appointment time. 

Series Payments

We do provide a series option for some of our therapies, where a package of sessions may be purchased for a discount. However, any series must be used within six months of purchase. If all sessions are not used within this time frame, sessions already administered shall revert to full price, and the remainder of the series credit shall be applied to your account for you to use for other clinic services and products.   

Credits

Any clinic credits are kept on file and may be used for a period of one year, at which time any unused credit will be provided to you in the form of a gift certificate.

Cancellations

Because our therapists make themselves available to you by appointment, we ask that you give us 24 hours notice when you must cancel an appointment so that we may offer the time to another client. If you are unable to do so, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $40.00 which is to compensate the therapist for their time. This fee will be waived if we are able to rebook your cancelled appointment time. If, however, you fail to appear for a scheduled appointment or you appear more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, you will be responsible to pay the full fee for that appointment and your credit card may be charged if we are unable to receive compensatory payment within 30 days.  However if you reschedule your missed appointment within the same week, you can apply the paid fee to the rescheduled appointment in full. 

So even if you forget, have to work late, can't get a baby-sitter or can't park… believe me, we do understand, but we still have set aside the time for you. We hope you understand this professional courtesy.

Weather Cancellation

Throughout the winter season there are many days where snow can make everyone change their plans.  Our weather policy is that we normally will remain open.  If we do have to close due to weather, there will be a notification on our website early in the morning, and you will receive a cancellion notice by e-mail for your appointment, so please be sure that you check your e-mail and that we have an e-mail address that you access on weekends and evenings as well as days.  If we remain open, our cancellation policy remains in effect unless the Brookline schools are closed.  In this case, no late cancellation fee will apply as long as you notify us that you will not be coming for your appointment.

Product Returns

If you wish to return a product that you have purchased from us, it must be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase and it must be in a resellable condition.  Any supplements or nutritional products must be unopened and any custom herbal blends are not returnable.  Any returns will be given a clinic credit only which is good for one year.
