Karen Clickner
Naturopathy, Medical Herbalism
Dr. Karen Clickner is the owner and director of I.S.I.S. and its international affiliates. Karen's early degree work was in philosophy and international law, but she came to realize the importance of bringing holistic options for treatment to the public in an organized and effective format. After comprehensive training in Europe in naturopathy, she worked for a number of years in Madrid before moving to Florida. Since that time, she has become certified as a colonic hydrotherapist, myofascial therapist and continued her study of clinical herbology through the Australian College of Phytotherapy and Texas Chiropractic College. She practices Applied Kinesiology and Contact Reflex Analysis as part of her evaluation practice.
She has taught throughout the United States and Europe and her articles have been featured in various publications including AMTA Journals and The Wellbeing Journal. She was "The Herbal Advisor" which aired on World Radio in Geneva, discussing herbal options for illness. She has designed each of our programs of therapy and brought therapists who are both experienced and outstanding in their fields to provide comprehensive health options to our clients. Karen manages the practices in London and Geneva and maintains our herbal apothecary and its line of therapeutic formulations. She also provides Naturopathic advice on Nantucket Island at Nantucket Holistic Health. Her latest projects include a book on the health of breast tissue in women to be published in the UK and a book of her personalized treatments, therapy and philosophy of the body.
Ondine Brent
Thai Body Movement, Flexibility & Muscle Conditioning
Ondine joins ISIS from a family of healers. Her father studied homeopathy with Dr. Bernard Jensen, who was an early influence in her life. Her sister is a yoga instructor who has brought serenity and health to many. Her grandfather set bones and prepared salves in colonial Baghdad.
At a young age, Ondine was recognized as having the healing hand, and began to work as a massage therapist. She was retained by clients in this country and overseas, and continued her training in Thailand at the Buddha Khun Institute. Her guiding principle is symbolized by the Eyes of Compassion, looking outward at every creature. She is an intuitive healer, and immediately puts people at ease with her calming, reassuring presence.
Ondine specializes in Thai Body Therapy, a potent and transformative practice. This high-energy, deep body therapy combines yoga, physical therapy and movement techniques to completely work out all the kinks in every body system. Her work opens pathways of energy that enables healing on myriad levels leaving people feeling rejuvenated and incredibly flexible for days. She has also worked extensively with athletes (particularly marathoners) during their training to increase performance. Thai Body Movement can be extremely effective to improve flexibility and circulation.
When not at ISIS, Ondine is also involved in the Arts and fashion as well as teaching foreign languages and writing. Her activities complement one another because she strives to communicate with people on all levels. Her love of humanity is evident in every area of her life, helping others to find balance and connection. Ondine is delighted to continue her path as a healer at ISIS, enabling her clients to bring mind, body, and spirit into harmony.

For over twenty eight years Marie-France has studied and developed her expertise in energy medicine, spiritual anatomy, emotional intelligence, human awareness, and self-development. Her studies have also included metaphysics, theology, astrology, and channeling. She originally studied the philosophies of Taoism, Buddhism, Zen and Tai'Chi in Europe, where she also completed a course in the Silva Method Focused Thinking program.
In the U.S., she continued her studies in the science of medical intuition with Carolyn Myss and Dr. Norman Shealy of the Holos Institute of Health in St. Louis, Missouri. She has a PhD in Complimentary, Alternative and Preventative Therapies, including Transpersonal Psychology and Relationship Dynamics as well as a Doctorate of Metaphysics.
Marie-France not only is a practicing international counselor, but she is active in Hospice programs providing palliative care to terminal patients and counseling for cancer patients. She also has developed her own line of cosmetics, using them as a skilled artist to create inspirational portraits through a combination of cosmetics, healing, and esoteric and inspired symbols.
In 2006 Marie-France became a Faculty Member of the International Mahavatar Babaji Linage and the Hari Om Tat Sat Hermitage which have centers in Arizona, California, New York, The Philippines and now in Atlanta, Georgia. She serves as a Master Teacher and Master Healer in the Hermitage. In partnership with Jonathan Ware, she is now opening the Mahavatar Babaji Mystery School in Atlanta, Georgia for the purpose of teaching Eastern and Western Esoteric Studies.
She is an active member of the International Healing Association; and gives lectures, seminars, workshops, private consultations, therapies, and readings, in England, France and the United States.

Angela Hywood

Dr. Angela Hywood is considered one of the most innovative practitioners in naturopathic approaches to fertility in the world. She is the founder of Tonic Australia and her extensive experience and education has led to the establishment of her own groundbreaking and innovative model of clinical practice and seminar programs.
Angela grew up within three generations of pharmcists, and she knew from an early age that her individual approach to health and well-being would take a more natural and integrative approach than mainstream medicine. She graduated from Perth Academy of Natural Therapies in 1995, spent several years in General Practice in Western Australia, then undertook qualifications in pharmacy before completing her Post Graduate education in Natural Fertility Management and Women & Children's Health.
Angela's expertise and unique approach has provided a valued contribution to the development of international standards in holistic practice and education. She was a faculty member of the Botanical Medicine & Naturopathic Medicine departments of Perth Academy of Natural Therapies, The Australasian College of Natural Therapies and Nature Care College of Naturopathic and Traditional Medicine. She is a current faculty member of postgraduate education at Texas Chiropractic College and The University of Miami School of Medicine and is in high demand as a guest speaker at international medical and naturopathic conferences.
Angela runs consulting practices in Sydney, Australia and at ISIS Holistic Clinic in Boston and balances her time between consulting and education roles in both cities.
Adina Jacobson

Adina is a graduate of the Palmer Institute in Salem with a focus on
Myofascial Release, deep tissue and Polarity Therapy. She received her
Bachelors degree from Brandeis University, and worked for 10 years in
the Boston financial community. Adina joined ISIS in 2004 and through
training and practice, she began focusing on the idea that chronic pain can be
eliminated, and that people do not have to live with persistent
discomfort.
Through her continued studies both in the United States and abroad,
Adina has worked with clients to understand the long term effects of
injuries, posture, illnesses, emotional states, aging, and life habits on their
continued well-being and health. Adina specializes in relieving
muscle, posture, and stress-related pains, partnering with pre- and
post-surgical patients, alleviating prenatal and post-natal strains and pressures,
and re-energizing clients with persistent pain-related issues.
She focuses
on understanding both the source and the effects of the pain, and partners
with clients to relieve aches, achieve balance, recover from injuries
or surgeries, and improve their general health. She also incorporates
stretching techniques and physical counseling to ensure that each
session represents a comprehensive program of positive body change for every
one of her clients. She has developed a number of additional specializations to focus on every client's needs including Scar Tissue Manipulation, Pre and Post Surgical Massage and Massage for the Elderly.
Kristina received her Master in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture. She is a nationally board-certified Diplomat in Acupuncture, and a licensed practitioner of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the state of Massachusetts.
Prior to her professional studies in eastern medicine, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance and Fitness from the University of Massachusetts in Boston. Kristina continues to enhance her practice of Chinese Herbal Medicine with advanced training as an apprentice of Dr. Tao Xie, Master Herbalist at Pathways to Wellness in Boston.
In her practice, Kristina addresses a wide variety of health concerns with attention to both the physical and emotional aspects of well being in order to help clients adopt the appropriate lifestyle changes to meet their health goals. She holds a certification in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and has provided amazing results to numerous clients. Kristina's compassionate care combined with her knowledge of acupuncture and herbal medicine, allow her to effectively guide her clients to achieve their greatest potential of physical and emotional health.
Kate Leighton

Food has always played a leading role in Kate's life. Whether she was working as a cake decorator to pay for college, cooking vegetarian and vegan foods for a yoga retreat in Arizona , or doing raw food preparation in Los Angeles, gastronomy has always been at the core of her passions and her pursuits. Even while majoring in painting and printmaking at Lesley University she chose to focus her artwork on images of food and it's relationship to modern life
In college she became very interested in yoga and the art of Ayurvedic medicine. This was her first introduction into “whole foods” and began her interest in healing with foods as well as other healing modalities based on ancient eastern medicine. After moving to Los Angeles she started working in a small privately owned health food and wellness center which inspired the decision to become a colonic hydrotherapist later graduating from the Internal Environment Institute.
She is certified at an Advanced Level by the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapy and working through a course of study in Muscular Therapy. She is our natural food expert at ISIS and provides great listening skills combined with down to earth advice, all from a love of food. This will be Kate's fourth year as an integral part of ISIS.
Sonja Mellquist

Sonja is a native of Sweden and recently moved to Boston. As a child, she was introduced to the healing arts by her father, an acupuncturist and reflexologist. She was eventually trained at the Axelson's Gymnastical Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, Scandinavia's oldest and most renowned institute of complementary medicine. The Institute has an international reputation as the true home of Swedish massage.
She is intensely focused on the power of touch and the ways in which it affects people both physiologically and emotionally. She loves her work and is constantly working to deepen her knowledge of massage and bodywork, nutrition, and healing. Sonja has studied and adapted numerous world traditions of healing in an effort to offer each client complete, encompassing, and permanent solutions.
Judi Rapoza

Judi Rapoza is one of the most well-known people in the esthetics industry in New England. A graduate of the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics, she continued teaching there and managed their clinical program for many years. Since then, she has continued to privately consult emerging spas and esthetic businesses, including guest lecturing at a number of New England esthetic schools. She maintains a strong interest in natural medicine, attending programs of study throughout the U.S. She also brings to ISIS her amazing compassion and personal care for every client that walks through our door.
Meghan Sylvester, LPN
Holistic Health Nursing, Colonic Hydrotherapy, Yoga Therapeutics, Naturopathic Coaching
Meghan has been a colonic hydrotherapist at ISIS for two years while pursuing her nursing degree with a concentration in Holistic Health. Her clients love her sense of humor and her compassion, both of which make her one of our busiest therapists. She also has been a practitioner of Iyengar and Viniyoga for eight years, four of which have been enhanced by teaching throughout the New England area. Her most recent passion is Thai Yoga which has been very popular in her private yoga sessions.
